What Roll is
Roll records a bug — video, console, network, clicks — and hands it to your coding agent or a teammate. Everything stays on your machine until you choose to share.
In one minute
- Add Roll to Chrome and pin it.
- Click Roll → Record. Reproduce the bug. Stop.
- The viewer opens: the clip, with every error and failed request marked on the scrubber. Open in Cursor, or Copy link.
Two ways to record
- Tab — instant, no prompt, records the tab you're on. Move it to another tab with ⌥⇧R.
- Screen — Chrome asks what to share once (a tab, a window, or the whole screen). Switching tabs is captured with nothing to click.
- Rewind — leave it on; it keeps the last 2 minutes in memory. When a bug happens, save what just happened.
What a Roll contains
An open .jam bundle: video.webm, network.har, console.jsonl, events.jsonl, keyframes, and timeline.md — the merged, time-ordered story an agent reads first.
Free and Pro
Free: unlimited recordings, up to 5 minutes each, public links for 7 days. Pro ($29 once): no length limit, 5-minute rewind, links until you delete them. Pricing.
