Chrome tab recorder
Bug reporting Chrome extension
Roll records the tab you are looking at so you can file a bug with a clip: the video, what you clicked and typed, console messages, and network activity. No account to start.
What’s in the report
- Video of this Chrome tab — not your desktop or other windows
- A timeline of clicks and typing
- Console messages and network activity
- A stop bar with a timer, even if you switch tabs
How to file a bug
- Install from the Chrome Web Store and pin Roll.
- Open the site where it breaks. Click Record this tab.
- Reproduce the issue. Press Stop.
- Copy a link and paste it into Slack, email, Linear, or Jira. Sign in only if you want a public
/c/URL. We do not push into those tools for you.
Limits
Free recordings stop at 5 minutes. Free public links last 7 days. Pro is $29 once for longer recordings and links that stay until you delete them.
Local MCP for Cursor and Claude Code is optional. Capture never needs it. See MCP setup and install notes.
